Football Highlight Video Reel

Chino Pop Warner Highlight Reel

Chino, CA – Highlight Video Production for Pop Warner Player

Just as we did the 2005 highlight for the Chino Colts, a parent of one of their players decided to give a pretty cool birthday gift to their son. So Dan, the father of this player, gave us footage of his son playing and we put together a 5 minute highlight reel just for his son. I could see why Dan wanted to do this for son. He is so talented. As a parent, I too could see myself doing something like this for my child.

The challenge that we had was we were given mini DVD discs. I have to admit, although I see how convenient this format is, I actually am not the biggest fan of it because of its challenges to capture the video onto digital files for us to edit. Because the dvds recorded on the camcorder’s default format, you could not play the videos on a regular DVD player but only play the videos on its original camcorder. Also, the camcorder did not have a way to transfer the videos digitally to a computer. Through our desperation we had to actually capture the video analogy and then to digital. Unfortunately, it resulted in some degradation of the original video. But no matter, we did our best to show how talented their son was and how proud they were of their son.

End of Season Video Highlights of Chino Colts

Highlight Video for Chino Colts

Chino, CA – Highlight Video Production for Pop Warner Chino Colts.

It’s always great when a previous client comes back to you again for a video production project. Just like last year, John asked us again to create a highlight video using their Chino Pop Warner football team’s game footage that they gathered throughout their season. Again, the challenge was to find a story and theme of what this young team went through. Compared to other teams, they were considered younger and less experienced. But surprisingly they came out the gates dominating teams. One game they even won 55-0.

However, as the season went the tide would turn against them. Everything went smoothly until they themselves were dominated by losing 31-0 to a team from Moreno Valley. This could have led to disaster for this young team’s season in which their confidence could have been destroyed. Instead, they showed their resolve and got back up by defeating their next opponents 32-8. They basically picked themselves back up and continued their season onward from before their last loss.

Videography of Kaori’s Debut

Kaori's Alhambra Birthday Party

Alhambra, CA – Kaori’s 18th Birthday Video Production

Similar to Mexican tradition of a quinceaƱera, the Filipino custom has something called a debut. But instead of celebrating a girl’s 15th birthday, in a debut it is the 18th birthday that is celebrated. So we had two videographers cover this celebration at the Jayvee Dance Studio in Alhambra. The night was filled several ceremonies. There was the presentation of the candles where 18 females friends and family members each presented a candle to the debutante. Followed by that, 18 male friends and family members each presented her a rose.

Just like a wedding, a dance with her father occurred. But unlike a wedding, since there is obviously no first dance with her husband, it is tradition that the celebrant has a cotillion dance with her court. It is custom that they would perform a waltz but instead there was a modern twist to the performance. Instead, the debutante and her court performed a hip hop dance number that thrilled their guests and family members. We were able to get some pretty cool shots for it was the first time we brought along our jib.
